I would like the vehicle to go to someone with restoration intent.  That has always been my intent, but at retirement I find I do not have the time. This was a really fun car when I first bought it!  It was a very sporty looking car for a sedan.  Although dusty now, it still looks good when it is cleaned up.

The vehicle has an aqua green exterior.  It has buckets in front with a fold down back on the rear bench.  It has original equipment.  It has a four speed transmission on the floor. The six cylinder engine has dual carbs.  As noted later, this vehicle has not run since 1976. The floors and the trunk are solid. This seems to be a concern with these cars.

Before describing the condition and my thoughts as to needed restoration, I am going to give a brief history of the car to set the stage.

I bought this car in 1968 in New Mexico.  It was like new.  I drove it back to Ohio in 1969 and sold it to a neighbor in 1970.  My Dad bought it back from the neighbor in 1975.  When my Dad got sick in 1976 he drove it into the barn and parked it. It remained parked there until I inherited it from my Mom in 1994.  It was moved to my garage at that time and has been there since.  Nothing has been done to it during this time.

That having been said, I will describe the restoration items of which I am aware.

Engine- The engine has not run since 1976.  My Nephew looked at the car briefly two years ago and attempted to start it. The engine turned over, but would not start. The oil looks clean for what that is worth.

Headliner- Needs to be replaced.

Upholstery- The back of the rear seat needs work.  There may have been mice nesting in it at one time.

Brakes- Obvious.  Has not been driven since 1976.

Body- I have had two people with experience look at the vehicle.  They concur that the body work required is minor.  The worst spots appear to be minor rust showing up on the front of the rear wheel wells just behind the bottom corner of the back doors. There are several other small spot where the previous owner used primer to cover what appear to be slight blemishes.

Vent window- The small window on the passenger side neeeds new glass.  This was broken out in 1969 when my eight track was stolen.

Carpet- needs to be replaced

Other- There may be other small items which are not evident to me.

Shipping/transportation- Buyer is responsible for pickup. This will require a trailer or a truck.

Payment- In U.S. dollars only. $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction close via Paypal.  Any sales commission I owe Ebay will be non refundable even if the vehicle is rejected by buyer upon physical inspection.  The balance of the purchase price will be due in cash (in person) at the time the buyer picks up the car within 7 days of close of auction.

Title transfer- I will transfer title after physical inspection of the car by the buyer and receipt of the balance of the purchase price.  Ohio requires a notorized signature by the seller.  I will only sign off on the title with the actual consideration I receive indicated on the title.
