I am selling this beautiful Corvair Spyder convertible for a good friend. It's sure to draw attention at Cruise Nights or local club shows, with its turbo-charged engine and super-shiny turquoise body and interior.

The odometer reading is 84K miles. This car has never had body damage and is rust free. It has zero oil leaks! The original AM radio works. The convertible top operation is very smooth and easy.

BODY RESTORATION  was done at 78K miles, including:

     Turquoise paint (with Clearcoat), new top and boot, new vinyl seat covers, new carpet, new brakes with silicone fluid were installed.

The car has been garaged continuously. Five new tires were purchased, and have very few miles on them. There are a few small scratches and a couple of tiny rust "bubbles" in the paint on the lower door and below rear bumper.

MECHANICAL RESTORATION was performed by a professional Corvair technician, with only 350 miles driven since. Following is a partial list of work that was done:

     Engine rebuilt with Clarks .020 cylinder and turbo pistons, new rod and main bearings, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, lower bearing, idler bearing, clutch kit with fly wheel, heads rebuilt with all new valve guides.

    Rear end rebuilt with new bearings, transmission rebuilt with new bearings, new shifter forks, electric fuel pump installed, new gas tank installed, carburetor rebuilt by Clarks, rebuilt distributor, wiring harnesses replaced and repaired, new blower motor installed, 63 amp alternator installed, heater hoses installed, back-up light switch installed.

Remember, only 350 miles driven since this complete mechanical restoration!

Included in the sale are the original Owners Manual, Turbo Manual, and Convertible Manual as well as mechanical restoration records.
